Clean towels must be kept in a closed cabinet, container, or closet except linens which are designated for use on current patrons. However, clean towels designated specifically for drying patron's hands and are displayed only in the restrooms of salon/shop facilities need not be in a covered closed container.</P> <h2><a href="/GAC/130-5-.03" name="130-5-.03" title="130-5-.03">Rule 130-5-.03 Sterilization</a></h2> <P>The use of any article that is not properly cleansed and disinfected on any patron is prohibited. Hands must be properly cleansed and sanitized prior to servicing each client.</P> <h2><a href="/GAC/130-5-.04" name="130-5-.04" title="130-5-.04">Rule 130-5-.04 Waste and Garbage</a></h2> <P>All waste material must be removed daily. Garbage shall be stored in a covered, washable container and shall not be left in the establishment overnight. Autoclave is an acceptable method of sterilization. The screen, jet, and/or foot plate must be completely immersed in an EPA-registered, hospital-grade bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal, and pseudomonacidal disinfectant that is used according to manufacturer's instructions.
